Looking for a town?

Looking for a town from the early 1900's called Staro Masłowo that I was told was near Częstochowa?  

Did you mean Staromieście (very near Lelów)?

Come to find out the town is a translation from a french record.  

I'm afraid that we won't be able to find out anything definite: so much has been distorted in this document, most likely written by a French clerk who was getting the info from an illiterate or half-literate Polish person. The family name must have been Zakrzewski, not Zakrewski. There is no place in Poland named Staromasłowo. Masłowo is a village near Rawicz between Poznań and Wrocław, quite a long way away from Częstochowa. Kijov where Weronika was said to be born does not look Polish either. It may have been the village of Kijów in the parish of Kruszyna, not far from Częstochowa, but I don't find the name Ciszkiewicz/Cieszkiewicz in the church books there.
